1.https://www.mindful.org/
Mindful.org has SOOO many different articles ranging from building your teens confidence, to being mindful at work. It includes; daily meditation practices, mindfulness research and science behind the brain, aspects of health including physical and mental health as well as work and relationship health, podcasts and magazine issues.

2. http://projectfreedomride.org/
This is the website for a nonprofit called Project Freedom Ride. This was started by a young boy named Roman and his family in efforts to have dogs from kill shelters rescued and adopted. Roman has a natural talent of being with dogs, and he would make videos for the dogs talking about their personalities and why they are each such great dogs. Within a year, he has helped over 1,000 dogs be adopted. This organization also helps with the care and transportation needed for each animal which can get really expensive. They are 100% donation and volunteer based. Roman also won ASPCA’s Kid of the Year in 2018. I love this organization, and they even have cute merchandise that can be bought and all proceeds go to the organization.

Audible is perfect for all ages and great for those on the go.

3. https://www.audible.com/
I am really getting into audio books these days. When I am driving or flying, this is my go to. It is also an app which is great! I was able to lay on the beach and read a book with my eyes closed ha ha. Sitting down and reading a physical book isn’t always the most fun for people, and they can fall asleep while reading. I am guilty of doing this many times. So I find that Audible is great when I am running on the treadmill, cooking, or doing something where I can’t exactly physically read. This allows me to still learn and expand my horizon through books without having to stop and read. I definitely enjoy sitting and reading some days when I need to really decompress.

4. https://smile.amazon.com/
You may have noticed that Audible is also through Amazon. I feel like today, someone could live for years without ever leaving their house with the help of online ordering and fast shipping. What many people don’t know, is that when you log into AmazonSmile, you can make purchases you usually do, but 5% of the purchase price goes to a charity of your choice from the given list. I think this is especially great if you are someone who loves shopping on Amazon, because it doesn’t require anything on your end since you are already purchasing the item. I also love that it shows you how much money you have generated/donated. It’s something to feel a little less guilty about when it comes to your shopping addiction.

Who here may or may not have a shopping addiction?

5. https://www.youngadultmoney.com/
Even though money isn’t happiness, it’s still an important aspect as life. I have learned, from the help of the book You Are A Badass by Jen Sincero, that money is not the root of all evil and it shouldn’t be viewed as something we shouldn’t want. Simply said, we have one life to live, and if we want to live a certain lifestyle that fills us with joy, that may include travel, a certain home, or car, we should strive to get it. If we want to make tons of money and donate it to a charity, do it! As far as the website, it helps young adults understand and manage money ranging from real estate investing to lifestyle choices we as young adults make that can hurt or help us financially. Especially at a time where the average American gets out of college with over $60,000 in debt, it is critical that we manage our money early if we want to have financial freedom.
