About Me, KP!

Hello there, thanks for stopping by! My name is Katelyn Paxson, but everyone calls me KP. Hmm, where to begin? Well I have created this website to display some of the work I have done as an undergrad, as well as provided some links to some of my favorite websites and videos. I am an absolute mush when it comes to babies, animals but especially dogs, and homecomings. Combine all three and I will be crying my eyes out (happy tears of course).

Currently I am a rising Senior at Rowan University. I am double majoring in Psychology and Health Promotion and Wellness Management. Ask me what I want to do and I will give you a ton of answers because, frankly, I’m not sure where I want to go, because I see myself doing so many different things.

My end goal is to have a career where I am helping people become their best selves and hopefully therapy animals will be involved! I think life is this crazy juggle that we are all trying to figure out. And things always end up different, not what we expected or hoped for, but we must realize it’s what exactly was planned all along.

I enjoy binging Netflix with my boyfriend and dog Honeybun, driving to new places around my hometown, traveling, and a big cup of iced coffee. What inspires me so much is my father’s stroke he had two years ago. It took a turn for the worst and he no longer has any motivation do take care of himself in even the smallest ways, at a young age of 58. I want to make sure my clients are proactive and determined to live long, healthy lives so they can run and play with their grandchildren. To enjoy BBQ’s and pool days with their friends. To cuddle up next to those who they love, and be truly grateful for being alive. Every. Single. Day.

My goal is to reach people while they still want to change, especially those who feel overwhelmed with how the state of the world is headed. By helping inspire, change, and motivate one person at a time, to create a better, joyful person, we can change the world. I just want the absolute best for people, especially in those crazy tough seasons of life.

Me and my man. I’m kinda crazy about him 🙂
